Trio Livello is a piano trio that came together in the chamber music programme of the conservatory in Zwolle (ArtEZ). We also play repertoire in duo’s, cello and piano. We like to play music from different periods and different styles. It challenges us to share the message behind the music, no matter what the language may be, which is what we will convey in this concert.
Mateo VIscarra Wilde (piano) was born in Bolivia, and started studying the piano at the Gnesin School in Moscow, Russia (2006) under the direction of Ella Mihaylovna. In 2018 he started his pre bachelor at the conservatory in The Hague with Slava Poprugin. He had masterclasses with Alexander Moutouzkine (New York) and Christopher Smith (Juilliard). Now he is studying a Bachelor course of classical music with Frank van de Laar in Zwolle.
Alvaro Arroyo Arroyo (violin) started to play the violin when he was 7 years old in Spain. He studied in Madrid for 3 years with Alfredo García and Jesus Reina. He also received classes from Frederieke Saeijs, Oliver Wilde, Raquel Castro and Yuval Gotlivovich. Currently he is following the pre bachelor here at the conservatory in Zwolle with Sarah Kapustin.
Gemma Smit (cello) has been studying the cello for 10 years. She has studied with Marjan van Randeraat and Frank Spronk. Last year she followed the preparatory year at the conservatory of Amsterdam with Maarten Mostert. Also she received masterclasses in solo performance and chamber music from Coosje Wijzenbeek and and Charles Watt. Now she is studying at the conservatory in Zwolle with Karlien Bartels.
